Efeito sinérgico dos polimorfismos genéticos EGF+61G>A e TGFB+869T>C no desenvolvimento/progressão do carcinoma de células renais: impacto nos níveis circulantes dos microRNAs-7, -221 e -222

O carcinoma de células renais (CCR) é um emergente problema de saúde a nível mundial em consequência da sua elevada taxa de mortalidade, apresentando um comportamento biológico heterogéneo. Este comportamento poderá ser consequência de desequilíbrios no microambiente celular induzidos por polimorfismos genéticos funcionais responsáveis por diferente biodisponibilidade dos fatores de crescimento EGF e TGFβ1, centrais na ativação de cascatas de sinalização envolvidas na proliferação, angiogénese e invasão celular.
